The client was a bakery clerk who slipped and fell on a banana peel in a supermarket where she worked. Due to a variety of negligent acts by the treating doctors and hospital (including misreading the CT scan and failing to properly monitor her medications), this client will spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair.
$4,000,000 settlement for roofer injured at construction site
After securing a liability judgment, obtained a $4,000,000 recovery during the damages trial for a 31-year-old Suffolk roofing foreman who fell through a ventilation hole in a roof at a Manhattan construction site. The hole had been camouflaged by a thin piece of wood and hence was not seen by the client. The client sustained many fractured bones and urological injuries after he landed on a construction shanty 40 feet below.

Obtained a $3,000,000 settlement for a 39-year-old laborer injured while working during the construction of a new school in Queens. The client fell 14 feet off a ladder landing on his back, sustaining serious personal injuries and requiring several surgeries. Defendant unsuccessfully argued that my client was a “recalcitrant worker” to evade liability; that argument was successfully defeated, and within days before trial, the case settled providing lifetime payouts to my client.

He fell through a hole in a poorly lit area, which had no warnings or protective barricade. The client fell two stories, landing onto a concrete basement slab sustaining severe elbow, wrist and shoulder injuries; his subsequent medical treatment later led to serious infections.
